How old are you and please can you share your health and fitness journey to date?

I am 27 years old. I began my journey 19 months ago. Changing my eating habits allowed me to see results. Since then I have lost about 60 lbs. I have gained many lbs of muscle and have hit some pretty awesome PRs in the gym. I used to loathe myself. My weight/body was a darkness that affected every pet of my life. I suffered self-mutilation, depression, and an eating disorder. I was waiting for someone to fix my life. Somehow I realized it was only up to me. Through Gods strength I finally did something about it. I learned to love myself. To love my body, even while it is under construction.

What types of foods did you used to eat as a kid and young adult? What's changed since then?

Growing up we ate what was easy and cheap. So a lot of processed foods. Now I eat real food, I follow a Paleo lifestyle. I have done many rounds of whole30.

Do you play any sports or what sports do you like watching?

Absolutely love football. Go Broncos! I grew up playing soccer. In High School I played volleyball and soccer.

What are your interests, passion and what makes you smile?

Lifting heavy. Make up. Being outdoors.

What was the catalyst that sparked your lifestyle change?

I was tired of living in self-hate.

What are some of your dreams/goals you hope to achieve over the next 12 months?

Do one pull up. Squat 250. Gain muscle! Lose fat! Become a makeup artist.

What tips would you like to share with my readers about your transformation?

Positivity is key!!! Love yourself. Talk positive to yourself. Do not compare yourself to others.
