This is super quick and easy to make, so creamy, delicious without any of the guilt as ALL the ingredients are wholefoods which are jam packed with antioxidants, vitamins and pure goodness for your body. However, like all things we must do things in moderation.

]]>Here is my little Miss Mietta this morning as we ran and walked through some beautiful gardens on a very chilly winters day.....

Hello everyone, this is my first ever blog post. I am relatively new to this and hope you stick around to enjoy what I have to share with you all.
Much love and friendship

Mietta, Noah holding Zali and Oscar ~ Christmas 2011
Here is a recent snap shot of my latest "roller coaster" body after having 4 babes. I will share the other 3 pregnancies and pics next time I get online....
40 weeks pregnant with Zali |
Yes, now what I mean by roller coaster ride (for the people out there that know the effects their body has on them with any form of weight gain eg: babies, depression, injury etc....) you tend to get a bit dizzy and disorientated, I know I sometimes get a little queasy on these rides. So let me tell you that I have slowly got my vertigo back on track and with each pregnancy I have learned so much about myself, my body and it has been a lot easier to get my body back this fourth and final time!
baby Zali 10 days old |
Goodmorning to all my beautiful people, things were pretty busy this morning in our household so I was very glad I spent 5 mins last night to prepare this mornings breaky.....
I simply pour the oats into a container (which has a lid and hangs out in the fridge overnight. I make a large batch for the week, you can simply put glad wrap straight over your cereal bowl for one serve)
added some water
juices from a lemon and oranges
rind of some lemon & orange
sprinkled cinnamon
couple of drops of vanilla essence
a few sultanas
And in the morning........no cooking was required!!
All I had to do was cut up whatever fruit was at hand, so a banana, some blueberries with slivered almonds (cos they look pretty and are sooooo good for you too) and that was it!!!! Oh yes, that frothy milky white stuff, was Adrian's left over milk from his latte this morning.....just mixing it up a little.
This was so beautiful and tasty as all these wonderful flavours had a party together while I was sleeping last night and I got to enjoy every move they made in my mouth this morning. I LOVE IT!!!!
I hope this gives you some inspiration to be creative with your porridge in the mornings especially when you don't have time to cook it over a stove top! Only under extreme emergencies do I use the microwave as I really don't want to degrade this fine grain.
What are some of your favourite porridge creations???
]]>We typically indulge in pancakes over the weekend and I experiment with various "healthier" option toppings but I also do love the really delicious classics like lemon sprinkled with sugar, caramelised bananas with ice cream, condensed milk (I know it sounds wrong but TRUST ME it's dejour!) and my most favourite is walnuts with sugar.
Pancakes served with yogurt, raspberries & walnuts |
However I know if I continued down this path I would also be wondering why my muffin top likes to make appearances when I'm wearing my jeans, pants and skirts. So now I just alter some of the higher sugary stuff with supportive ones. Eg: instead of sugar, I'll now use honey or maple syrup in certain recipes.
I'll also post my more supportive pancake recipe for those that have issues with wheat. I simply blend our porridge into fine flour and make up the same mixture.
What are some of your favourite pancake toppings?
]]>They were quite de-lish I might add and our kids devoured the mini muffin versions too.
Okay, this was just a quick post....I'll be back later to share our meals for the day!
Much love, Dani xx
BTW the wonderful Celeste at Our Girly World who is also the fabulous photographer for Zali's birth photos and our Christmas 2011 postcards (more on those beautiful pics in a post later) was kind enough to help tweak my site this morning so thanks again Celeste, you're the best!!!! We'll conquer the dreaded shadow box ;-)
]]>I basically add the following ingredients depending on the weight of the mince;
eggs
fresh bread crumbs soaked in milk
shredded carrots
grated onion
clove of garlic
add various spices eg curry, cumin, tarragon
salt & pepper
For my puree (only because I find this easy to feed our 10 month old baby girl Zali) I boil all my veggies, in this case cauliflower, carrot and broccoli, use some of the water and add some milk and blitz it! I save the veggie stock for other meals.
Hope these meals sound and look delicious to you, too bad there is no "smell this" button as these were a real hit tonight!
Good night all, I'll catch you tomorrow Xx Dani
]]>Half my day was spent at the hospital or rather the fracture clinic this morning to get more xrays done on Noah's left wrist which he broke when he fell down at school ~ 5 weeks ago. Luckily I prepared our snacks & lunch as we didn't get home until 1:30pm!!!! The kids were great, they just played and kept their cool whilst Mum was over heating a little!!!!!
Breakfast
Pear & cinnamon porridge with walnuts
Mietta wanted more when we arrived home! |
Afternoon snack
hard boiled eggs
hummus dip with veggie sticks
Since then I made tonights dinner, pea and ham soup, did the kinda and school picks up followed by some Martha Stewart tissue paper flowers crafts with the kids, as we gear up for 2 parties in August. Noah is turning 7 on the 8/8 and it's Zali's 1st birthday on the 11/8 so we are practising these puffy fluffy flowers to have as her party decorations. Let me tell you I'm glad I've started now as I really need to perfect them!!! I'll post pre and post attempts ;-)
Dinner
Ham and pea soup
Ok so I'm off to get ready, just waiting for Adrian to come home and relieve my shift! Hope everyone has a superb night and think of me whilst I have my feet up in Gold Class watching a chick flick. I might be snoring as I had an interrupted sleep last night with Mietta thinking it was morning and time to watch her cartoons at 2am!!!!! Not happy!
See-ya real soon xx Dani

Let me know what you think of Zali's room decor. She turns one in August so I hope to have some nice pictures of her room with all these pieces to showcase.

*BYE!!! and Sweet Dreams
]]>Can you believe between the 2 of us we have 9 children????? Sheesh what a ball they had today. My girlfriend AKA family photographer at Our Girly World caught up this morning at the Bunninyong Farmers Market followed by a play at the park.
Here's the gang minus Zali (who was sleeping)
Mietta, Hallie, Rylan, Grace, Noah, Oscar, Jemma & Milla ~ De Souza Park, Bunningyong |
Which reminds me I haven't shared my meals with you since Thursday yeah? In a nutshell;
Breakfast
Bircher muesli
The one pictured below has tinned pineapple with it's juices, sultanas, orange and lemon juices, some of their rind and I added water to cover the oats so this would absorb all it's funtastic flavours in the morning. Then dolloped natural greek yogurt, strawbs and blueberries!
Quinoa with sultanas and blueberries
I'm still an amateur with this grain AKA seed, I still find it has a kinda bitter taste to it no matter how many times I rinse the thing! So I started to experiment with fruit juices whilst cooking along with some water (please check your package for cooking instructions)
PS: Do yourself a favour....when it's just about cooked, spoon it out on a large tray to allow them to become fluffly. I asked a chef when I went out one night as mine always looked and tasty gummy and sticky. This was his secret! I feel privileged ;-)
Morning Snack
Apple
handful of almonds
latte
Yogurt with fruit & hazelnuts for added crunch!
Lunch
Fried eggs in olive oil with cherry tomatoes, feta and spring onions
Mixed platter of hard boiled eggs, avocado on wholemeal toast, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, chicken & spinach
We were very hungry today after our play in the park!
Afternoon Snack
Cherry tomatoes with avocado, cottage cheese and a sprinkle of paprika (just for some colour and yes it's so good for you too!)
Fruit salad with yogurt
Dinner
Flathead grilled fish with peas and mash
Bolognese sauce ontop of spinach leaves
(kids had pasta and this was a quick freezer meal as we had a very late play date Friday night!). Never got to cook our beef and mushroom dish on our meal planner! Oops! Sometimes you need to be flexible around your plans ;-)
What are some of your most fav weekly dishes? How about the kids? I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and I look forward to meeting you again Xx Dani
I just finished planning our family meals for the week. Here's a glimpse inside our pantry door! Going for a quick shop now for these ingredients and I'll be back.
I'll be posting my pics & starting stats for the 6 week transformation challenge as it starts tomorrow!!! I am so pumped!!! Oh yeah TRUE BLOOD premiers here in Australia on HBO so I'm super excited!!!

]]>
Hello there, this is me after 4 babies and what seems like a very long journey being pregnant and breastfeeding over these past 6 years!!! I am slowly learning and adapting to my new "clean eating" lifestyle and no, this is not a diet or something I do once in a blue moon. This is now my life! And I love it!!!!
Stats
Age: 38
Height: 178cm ~ 5'10"
Weight: 65kgs ~ 144lbs
Hips: 98cm ~ 38"
Waist: 80cam ~ 31"
Body Fat: 22%
Goals
Breakfast
Fruit salad porridge with a pecan and strawberry topping
Below pic is the stove top cooked porridge which I added an entire can of fruit salad (juices and all, without any added sugar of course! Fruit is super sweet and has it's own al natural sugar).
I added cinnamon, vanilla essence and some chia seeds with splashes of milk as it was thickening.
Snack
Cottage cheese with kiwi fruit
I'll update you with more on a later post and collate more of my pre and post body pictures. I know there may be some of you that think that I already look great and yes I will agree. I just wanted to share with you that I did tip the scales, over 90kgs ~ 200lbs mind you! and have worked ever since to never do that again!!! My body fat was nearly 40% which is nearly half my body mass. How unhealthy is that?
Just because I am nearly 6' and my fat is elogated ;-) I have the same body composition as someone that is 5' it's just that they are more compact and look a bit more obvious. So please know, I struggled to lose this weight regardless of how tall I look!!!!
What are some of your hurdles as you maintain your body shape or what are you doing to reach your ultimate happy body state?
Until we meet again, hope you're having a magical Monday!!!! XxDani
]]>Everyone is home sick today, no kinda, no school and no work! Yes you heard right, this never EVER happens....it's called man flu and my darling husband is out of action and laying in bed trying to get better.
In the meantime I thought I'd mix up our morning snack and make a little tropical theme. The kids loved it!!! We were imagining ourselves under neath palm trees, listening to the waves and feeling the sand between our toes.....for those not in Australia, it's the complete opposite. It's a wet and wintery day, although the sun is shining so that gave me the inspiration of our snack this morning.
I blitzed the below ingredients bananas, strawbs, linseed, chia seeds, sprinkle of cinnamon, yogurt with splashes of milk
And the kids shouted with excitement when I presented them with their smoothies....loving their comments as well "Oh Mama, this is de-jour!" "Soooo delicious Mum!" "Can we have these everyday Mum?"
Dessert
Kids had 2 large dark chocolate teddy bear biscuits for a quick dessert treat and I had one too ;-)
I was also peckish around 9pm and had some more dried fruit & nut mix
BTW I drink up to 2 litres of water a day. Just in case you were wondering of course! See you shortly and thank YOU so much for stopping by xx Dani
]]>Seen as I started our day with a tropical theme earlier this morning with my smoothie it has made me daydream ALL day about our wonderful wedding in Hawaii 6 years ago. We celebrated it last month and since I only starting blogging 2 weeks ago, I thought I would share....
The scenery was just divine, the company even more sublime. We had our closest family and friends share this special day with us! I will never forget the sand between my toes!!!
Oh yes and the magical kiss that sealed my future as Mrs Daniela Stevens
This is one of my most favourite shots as a friend took this one and we were all smiles ;-))))))
Diamond Head ~ Waikiki Beach
I could keep going folks but I'll update you with new ones every year we celebrate our anniversary. Deal? Don't want you getting bored now.....
What was one amazing thing that you will never forget on your wedding day? (if you're not married, let me know a special day you will never forget)
XxDani
]]>Okay so these are my before and after pictures after having our second son Oscar....now I know what you all might be thinking, I know I may appear to look good (and trust me I am thankful for my height too which distributes my excess baggage equally everywhere) but as I said in my previous post I have the same body fat percentage as someone that is a smaller frame, say 5' so they tend to appear more compact and rounded than me. Hence I never look too overweight but here I am sitting at over 35% body fat. That just isn't healthy!
So there you have it my friends, a journey that I hope never to repeat. Having said that I wouldn't be in the shape I am today if I didn't go down that path. I have learnt a pretty basic rule YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! So when I used to look down at my muffin top I would wonder "How do I get rid of you?" and then I would turn beside me and see an entire block of Cadbury's hazelnut chocolate and a packet of potato chips devoured minutes ago.....that was the old me. This is the new me now and don't get me wrong I do indulge in those things from time to time but I burn it off quick smart so they don't stick around!
Tell me your food struggles, what food types can you not live without?
XxDani
]]>Hello beautiful people, I am back and wanted to post the meals I had yesterday and today just to keep you on track and of course me!
Let's start with today....no workout today, day of rest and I have decided to change my 15 minutes per day to 30mins every second day. It just works better for me. Just so you know, I do not workout more than 90 minutes a week. So I combine both strength and cardio training in the 30 minutes.
Breakfast
Fruit salad porridge
(remember I like making this on the stove top as it bubbles away gently while I organise all the kids at the table)
Morning snack
Fruit salad
these 2 amazing "clean" choc chip cookies
1 latte (well 2 actually before Celeste left)
Lunch
Salmon with spinach (NB: I always make more dinner so I have left overs the next day or two!)
Afternoon snack
Banana with handful of nuts
2 protein balls AKA under cover chocolate truffles
Oh yes this is me on the go picking up the kids from Kinda and School, feeling a little French inspired with my snacks on the go ;-)
Dinner
Spinach and parmesan gnocchi served with bolognese sauce
Semolina is always in our pantry as I make it for the kids and it's kinda like a pudding custard dessert. My mother used to make it when we were kids and also savoury styles in soups like a dumpling. So I ended up making some of my own inventions when I worked out there were gnocchi recipes out there with semolina instead of potato in it.
My version is simple;
1). Make your semolina as per packet instructions (I used 2 1/2 cups of milk & approx. cup of semolina)
2). Cook some spinach (I had 2x150g bags but you can also use frozen but thaw it out & drain water) add 2 eggs and your choice of cheese (parmesan is best but I only had our pizza mix one), freshly grated nutmeg and S&P
3). Mix all ingredients thoroughly or use a hand blender
4). Spread out onto baking paper and allow to cool and set
I then cut them into small rectangle shapes and placed them under the griller (you can sprinkle more parmesan cheese) and then toss through your favourite sauce!!!!
After dinner snacks
handful of BBQ shapes (this was unexpected as my husband raided the pantry!)
handful of almonds as I type this post!
Morning snack
Fruit smoothie
(this is loaded up with whatever fruit I have in my bowl, yogurt & splash of milk)
Lunch
Salmon with snow peas
Dinner
Tandoori chicken with yogurt and rice
NB: I made the tandoori from scratch so let me know if you need my recipe otherwise you can just google it?
I do hope you have had a superb last couple of days and please feel free to drop me a line from time to time. Would love to hear your feedback on my brand new blog and any of my posts.
Goodnight from Australia (rather it's past midnight, so it's morning!) I need to Zzzzzzzz........before one of our kids wakes us up ;-))
XxDani
]]>Lunch below (tandoori chicken salad delivered to my husband as I had errands to run)
Meatballs with corn thins and side salad
2 protein balls AKA under cover choc truffles
Afternoon snack
2 x hard boiled eggs
corn crackers with hummus
1 orange
Dinner
Minestrone soup (loaded with beans, veggies and bacon) sprinkled with parmesan & chives
Cover with just enough water. Bring to a boil with 6 cloves of garlic for the aroma factor.
Turn down heat and simmer for 30mins. During this time slice or dice some bacon (I used 6 bacon rashes, fat off) and allowed for it to brown, added some of the soup mixture and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Place this all back into the saucepan, add a bay leaf, sprinkle of cinnamon, paprika and S & P. I add the pasta (I used either macaroni or rasini) right at the end until it becomes al dente. Sprinkle with parmesan, chives or fresh parsley and whalla! Super quick and a very nutritional meal under 30mins. Crusty bread goes well with this but if you're staying clear of it, then help yourself to 2 bowls ;-)
NB: I vary this soup from time to time and fry up an onion but tonight I thought I wouldn't do a double wham-ma of a massive gas cloud hovering above our house so I kinda kept it low key. I also add tomatoes but left them out tonight. What do you put in your minestrone soup?
NEW GOALS for this week....
Increase my fruit and vegetables to 10 servings per day
What is a typical serve?
Vegetables ~ One serve is around 75grams 1/2 cup cooked vegetables (broccoli, beans, peas etc..) 1 tomato 1 cup salad (super star spinach)
Fruit ~ One serve is around 150 grams 1 medium apple, banana, orange or pear 2 kiwifruit, apricots 1-2 tbs sultanas 4 dried apricots
I know you already know how fabulous fruit and vegetables are here's just a guide on how to help you increase yours per day:
1). Pump your breakfast eg: make a vegetable omelete, add fruit to your cereal or on the side 2). Start a meal with soup or salad 3). Double your normal vegetable serving 4). Try roasting your vegetables, they taste amazing!!! 5). Pre wash and cut your fruit & veg for quick handy snacks on the go
No workout today but scheduling my Fit Yummy Mummy workout tomorrow. I did plenty of house work to get my blood pumping tho ;-)
Breakfast LSA mix with yogurt and fruit (did splash more milk)
Morning snack yogurt with fruit
Lunch Meatballs with grilled eggplant & rice
Dinner Coconut curry prawns with rice (swapped around, tuna rissoles 2mrw)
Method Gently fry the fennel, curry and kaffir leaves until golden. Add the onion, garlic and ginger and stir to cook evenly. Add curry powder, chilli, paprika and fry for 1 minute. Stir in coconut milk, ground rice, cinnamon, lemon juice and add salt to taste. Allow to simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring as required and adding extra coconut milk if it becomes too thick. Add prawns, stir well and cook for a further 10 mins. Serve with rice!
Looking forward to another great week and thanks so much for stopping by xx Dani
]]>Hi there, when I participate in these Fit Yummy Mummy challenges throughout the year I also like to do a mini "sugar free" challenge.
I plan on quitting sugar next week! For 2 whole weeks!!! Who's with me???
Now the rules are typically no foods that have added sugar of any kind. It did include limiting your fruit intake to 3 serves per day, maple syrup, honey, agave etc... however for those that are doing this for the first time it may be a little too much! Yes I am referring to you Celeste ;-) kidding babe but I do know there are others that would like to join me so please mark this date in your diaries:
Hi there, I know some of you are real keen in joining me next week and I am so grateful so I thought of making up 2 teams. Let me know your thoughts as we have a few that have already given up majority of the sweeter things in life ;-) and others try to limit their sugar intake.
*Come back to this post regularly and add your comments. I will then collate all your info and suggestions to make our official sugar free post for next week with helpful tips to avoid sugar and what to replace when we need our sugar hit*
Team One ~ Fruits of life
No sugar whatsoever includes honey, agave and other sweeteners. Fruit is allowed.
Team Two ~ Sugar-less babes
Allowed one sugar serve per day eg: in their coffee or honey, maple syrup in their yogurt or cereal toppings. Avoid both daily.
I guess our aim is to limit or give up sugar completely over the next 2 weeks. It's hard! Trust me, I haven't been able to do it 100% but it is also doable. If we fail we just get back into the no sugar zone. It's based on a honesty system, so if you're cheating you're only doing it to yourself.
Which team are you going to join? Also are you in for 1 week or 2 weeks?? XxDani
]]>Hello everyone, I am having some real IT issues and I even managed to remove my "food" tab underneath my header with all my Sugar Challenge info for us next week. I will get this all up and running for us this weekend. In the meantime please prepare your pantry, kitchen and any other nooks you may have that may contain food with ANY added sugar :) grab a spare carton box and pack them away!!!
I need to stress that you need to remove any temptation and be prepared with healthy snacks to combat any sugar cravings. We are all in the same boat so please share how you are managing this sugar free journey!!
Today was a day of rest, no workout.
Breakfast
LSA porridge with banana and raspberries
The kids love their new porridge as well!!! |
Morning & afternoon snacks (I packed these for my 2hr return snacks in the car)
Apple and chickpeas
Banana and walnuts
Lunch
Met with a long life pal for lunch and I ordered a chicken salad
Dinner
Changed the lasagna dish (might do that 2mrw night) to a Green veg lentil soup served with home made garlic bread. Inspired by a similar green vegetable soup by Teresa.
Grilled wholemeal buns rubbed with olive oil and crushed garlic seasoned with salt
Evening snack
Banana pancakes with yogurt, raspberries and walnuts
My gorgeous friend Amber gave me her recipe of banana pancakes. Simply blend 1 egg with 1 mashed banana and whalla!! Of course add your favourite spices, in this case cinnamon and vanilla bean and you get these divine (delicate, so gently flip them over) golden circles of sunshine...
So for my fellow sugar free peeps joining me on our 2 week challenge next week, its not going to be that hard is it!!! No sugar here!!! And we're allowed 4 servings of fruit so this will curb our sweet cravings for sure!!! ;-)))
Goodnight until we meet again xXdani

BTW I have changed the Sugar babes team name to Sugar-less babes ;-P
I had some major treats at a 5yo ROYAL QUEENS birthday party this afternoon. Oscar was very excited to dress up as King Oscar however he did like being called Prince Oscar this afternoon ;-)

Evening snack
smashed a 300g celebrations cadbury chocolate bar (shared it with my husband last night & tonight as well) saying goodbye to sugar with a bang huh?!!!! ha! ha! Gotta get rid of this bad habit. ]]>GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. How are you on this sun shining day??? It's winter here in Australia for those that are enjoying the beautiful summer time your part of the world ~ excluding my Sth African friends ;-) My Mum went to Serbia last week as she chases the heat for her chronic arthritis which she has suffered most of her life, so she is enjoying the massive heat wave they're having in Europe.
Okay so how are we all doing? Yes you! Fruits of life crew Celeste ~ how was bootcamp this morning, Tel, Shaboo ~ how are those walks along the beach going? Anita ~ checking your labels today? Kia ~ hope your neck is ok today Music Monkeys, Navita and Jana....hope I haven't missed anyone? Oh yes can't forget my darling children Noah, Oscar and Mietta. They are seriously freaking me out with this no sugar stuff and being so determined to support me all the way!!! I love them to death!!
What about my sugar-less babes Kelly ~ how's the toilet training coming along ;-P Jess and Michael ~ did M end up drinking the lemon cordial? Nicole, Sheri ~ good luck with your new FB page, Michelle ~ hows my fav vegetarian/slowly eating meat girlfriend??? Karen and Kathy from FYM land ~ I'll be there soon xxx
It's been pretty good here I must say. As long as I am creative with the smoothies, jams (no cane sugar) and various fruits the kids and I don't seem to miss it much. It's more the sugar that's loaded in general foods like our tomato sauce AKA ketchup, flavoured tin tuna cans, breakfast cereals etc....
Drop me a line to let me know how you are going.
So far I did my Transformation Challenge Kit workout and it got my blood pumping. Seriously how does a back step lunge with a kick give you so much perspiration??? Then I had my post workout drink and breaky as Adrian had to go to work and I planned for my 15 minute interval training when the kids had their mid morning bath! You gotta be creative when managing 4 kids under 6 years over the school holidays to fit in your workout. I can find a million excuses not to work out but that old Dani has long gone now....
Breakfast Home made bircher muesli (simply soak oats overnight with grated rind of lemon/oranges, I squeezed the juice as well) cinnamon, seeds of any kind, sultanas and any extra milk if required)
Morning snack Mandarin with almond
Lunch Chicken & vegetable pasta (wholemeal) soup and kids had English muffins toasted with Vegemite and the others with jam. Yes they're still sticking to their no sugar challenge as this is fruit (which is allowed) and has no added cane sugar!!!!
Afternoon snack Cherries with yogurt
Dinner TBA either pumpkin soup or tuna, spinach, olive, feta and sundried tomato concoction :-)))
I'll be back to post my tummy shots (even though its already day 3). I just want to see if there is a difference eliminating sugar in my day to day meals?
Off to our a general wear and tear Chiro visit and play in the park with the kids this afternoon xxxDani * * * * UPDATE * * * * Okay I am back!!! Had an unexpected play date/visit at my cousins (Adrian's side of the family) after our chiropractor check up this afternoon. Came home at 6pm so whipped up dinner in 15 minutes!! All good at the Chiro although my back was twisted on my lower disc & muscle pinching the nerve blah! blah! (hence the bad lower back pain last week and no run as I thought it may have been the high impact). The DR said it shouldn't stop me from running and suggested I top up on magnesium which will also help me with my stitch next time I run ;-)))) I had to tell her about that, she laughed as I showed her how I ran with my hand held to the side and the other arm straight up in the air!!! Classic!!
Okay....remember how I said dinner was either going to be pumpkin soup or something spinachy, feta-ish etc....well this is what I had in the fridge (sliced mushrooms, eggs, spinach, tomato, feta & eggs). So what did I make that was quick and easy and very appealing for my family?
An omelete pizza ;-))) AKA frittata
Simply fry up bacon, mushrooms and spinach. Mix eggs, feta and chopped tomato. Pour into bacon mix once brown and allow base to cook. Then place under the griller. All these ingredients are under $10 so it's a pretty affordable and nutritional meal for a family of 6!!!
Oh yes, just wanted to compare what my tummy will look like post the 2 week "sugar free" challenge. I know it's Day 3 already but it will be interesting to see the changes.
