The sensational Kate Webber who is definitely putting out the energy she wants to attract and is doing an absolute FABULOUS job at it!! Here is her story… kate weber b4 & after

How old are you and please can you share your health and fitness journey to date?

I’m 31 years old and finally in a good place with my health and fitness. For a long, long time I over exercised (only cardio) and ate too little until I was quite ill. After years of this I then went the opposite and did some exercise and ate whatever I wanted. I was still extremely unhappy with my body and was always tired, headachy, moody etc. I met my now husband and with his support and positivity I decided to FINALLY do it right. I started an Instagram account to keep myself accountable and connect with healthy, fit, inspiring women. I’m doing less cardio, more weights and HIIT based training, I’m eating more food than ever, nothing processed, no added sugar and only wholesome foods with an ice cream in there every now and then for a treat. I love your page and your website! You are very inspiring!

What types of foods did you used to eat as a kid and young adult? What's changed since then?

As a kid my family ate really well. Any ‘treats’ were homemade and we were never allowed soft drink or junk food apart from the occasional if we were on holidays. I think I have come full circle now and am definitely back to that nothing processed way of eating.

Do you play any sports or what sports do you like watching?

I used to play a lot of netball & touch footy but now it’s more my husband and I play tennis and squash a lot. We have two big dogs so we take them on long walks every day plus the gym.

What are your interests, passion and what makes you smile?

My interest and passion at the moment is fitness and discovering more and more different exercises, foods and connecting with more people. My family, husband, friends and our dogs make me smile and laugh every day. I am so grateful for the people in my life.

What was the catalyst that sparked your lifestyle change?

I just got tired of how I was feeling. I researched and got my hands on all and any information I could about health and nutrition. I took a ‘before’ photo when I started the BBG and I was so upset with myself but I realised I was the only person who could change that. I’m still a long way from where I want to be but I have learnt to take it day by day. I want to be healthy and happy for myself and my family.

What are some of your dreams/goals you hope to achieve over the next 12 months?

I have some small goals such as being able to do 5 chin ups, being able to do 5 clapping push ups, generally getting stronger and making my goals about strength as opposed to how I look. I want to be more mindful about my negative self-talk when it happens on days that I look in the mirror and feel ‘bleh’. I try to stop and ask myself fact or feeling?

What tips would you like to share with my readers about your transformation?

My (very amateur) tips would be to always remember how far you have come not how far you have to go, try not to compare your journey with others, trust the process and less calories doesn’t mean more/better progress.

I just love, love, love reading people’s stories that have such commitment! Kate shows us that all you need to do is try a little harder to be a little better!
