Transformation Tuesday with Cynthia Green

How old are you and please can you share your health and fitness journey to date?

21 (May 18th I'll be 22) My health and fitness journey began February 26, 2014. That was the day I knew i needed to change my lifestyle. I got on the scale weighing only THREE pounds away from 200lbs. 197 pounds. It literally made me sick to think about it. I started my journey with an AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge, which, in just a short 24 day timeframe, I lost 18lbs right off the bat. I've continued using AdvoCare throughout my weight loss journey and have absolutely fallen in love with the company, as well as each and every product. From the beginning of my journey until now I have lost a total of 57lbs and i have finally hit very close to my weight loss goal of 135lbs.

What types of foods did you used to eat as a kid and young adult? What's changed since then?

Growing up, all I ever knew was junk. I would eat chips, soda, and candy constantly. Of course, my parents cooked great food almost every night but on top of eating dinner there would always be some form of late night snack and sometimes even a snack before dinner was cooked. Since then I have realised what you eat and when you eat impacts your life in big ways. I now try my absolute best to stay below 44 unhealthy carbs every day, as well as only eating lean meats, fruits, and vegetables.

Do you play any sports or what sports do you like watching?

I don't play any sports any more, however I played softball in school and have always been very fond of watching it as well.

What are your interests, passion and what makes you smile?

I have a huge passion for people and doing everything I can possibly do to help people and bring back their self-esteems. On top of me becoming an AdvoCare Advisor (due to my obvious transformation and true love of the products) I'm also a Mastor Cosmetologist. So not only do I have a passion helping people find AdvoCare products the best suit them for their weight loss journeys but I also have a huge passion for hair, makeup, spray tans, etc. Anything that helps uplift a person I have tried to become a part of.

What was the catalyst that sparked your lifestyle change?

The catalyst that sparked my lifestyle change was the moment i found myself extremely depressed and absolutely hated the way I looked and felt. Also getting on the scale and realising how heavy I was definitely helped spark my change.

What are some of your dreams/goals you hope to achieve over the next 12 months?

My goal is to help as may people as I possibly can in the next 12 months - to achieve whatever weight loss journey they have in mind. I also plan to hit my own weightloss goal of 135lbs and tone up the body I now have.

What tips would you like to share with my readers about your transformation?

My tip is to stay focused. Find someone to go about everything with you if you can because having someone to answer to for sure makes a tremendous difference. Try AdvoCare, if you haven't already. It has transformed my life and I know it can yours as well.
