Cooking with Tobie Puttock
Whoosh!!!! What an amazing day! Yesterday I got to hang out and cook with chef extraordinaire Tobie Puttock. As you know I love creating and sharing healthy food ideas, and super excited to feature on Jamie Oliver's Food Tube Network a couple of weeks ago. Such a buzz and super cool to cook our favourite dinner meals and share them with you. Seriously I don't think Tobie is Australian. He is an Italian through and through. His love affair with Italian food began when he was working in Melbourne's acclaimed Caffe e Cucina. His passion flourished as he cheffed his way across Europe, working eighteen-hour days in Italian-speaking kitchens, taking time out for snowboarding excursions and the odd very long lunch in a mountainside trattoria. In London, he worked at the River Cafe, widely regarded as that city's best Italian restaurant, alongside a bevy of high-profile chefs, including Jamie Oliver. He got a little home sick and moved back to Melbourne, once again to an Italian kitchen, this time a place called Termini. Tobie is also an author of Daily Italian, Cook Like An Italian and Italian Local. See! Told you he is Italian. Tobie made a colourful raw salad created by Kemi accompanied by his king prawns recipe on the side, which was totally succulent and oh so tasty. I went old school and prepared my healthy chicken nuggets to show you how quick and easy they are to make so you can by pass your traditional take away drive through. Here's a snippet of yesterday at the amazing Photographers Kitchen!
Happy hump day!
