Susie Burrell

  1. What fitness activity do you schedule into your daily routine to keep healthy?

ATM I am mixing up plenty of walks that range between an hour to an all day walk once a week with my regular gym sessions with a trainer which include 2 x 30 minute resistance sessions. As my belly is getting bigger I am able to do less interval training and am doing a lot more core and whole body resistance during these sessions. I am also due to start pilates in the next few weeks and will swim once I get to 28-32 weeks and walking has been taken off the option list by my doctor.

  1. Describe your dream meal – what could we expect to find on your plate?

I love most types of veges and salad so a perfect meal has these as a base, cooked or raw along with a little protein such as salmon or chicken and then some yummy sauce or seasoning. Goat's cheese is a fav although I am not having that at the moment. One of my favourite meals is a vege omelette with goats cheese mixed through.

  1. Who’s your go to style icon – who have you always admired for their style, and why?

I like pretty simple, classic looks - I always love what Victoria Beckham puts together but if I am honest am more likely to be in gym clothes so don't pay that much attention to fashion or style icons!

  1. What’s a childhood habit or mannerism that has followed you into adulthood?

I am really, really organised knowing what I will be eating and doing for most hours of the day. It is boring but means I can churn through a lot of stuff each day.

  1. Name three things you can’t leave the house without and why?

Water bottle especially now I am pregnant I am really thirsty. A snack! ATM I am starving so always have some berries or a wrap with me to deal with emergency hunger and my notebook for meetings and ideas that come up through the day.

Thanks so much Susie for joining us today and we can't hear about your new bundles of joy news very soon!
