Ride To Conquer Cancer

It's that time of year again, so many mixed emotions and more so this year as I am unable to ride with my amazing Vision Crusaders team. I had a procedure done a few months ago which hasn't allowed me to do any training for the ride, whatsoever. A huge shout out to my awesome donation company (who wishes to remain anonymous) for kindly donating $2,500 to the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse as part of The Ride To Conquer Cancer. I am totally shattered I cannot ride with them, words cannot explain. However I am so grateful that the funds raised for this weekend, will be helping each and every cancer patient and family effected to keep this amazing research going and find a cure for this terrible disease. I want ALL my Vision Crusaders and those fighting to know.... Today You Are My Hero. Last years #richardbransonproject was a huge success. When the incredible Richard Branson posted this picture on all his social media pages to support me and our Vision Crusaders team, this made my #dreambig motto in life a reality. You can read more about that here. I was over the moon with everyone's support, such a humbling experience. I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you. I absolutely LOVE the power of social media. Wishing my VC's all the very best this weekend and especially our wonderful team captain Klaus, who wasn't able to complete the 6 rides last year (but is determined this year!) He stunned us all last year with his leukaemia diagnosis 3 days before our Sydney ride last year! Thankfully he is in remission now and I was able to ride with him in Brisbane last year, an experience I will never forget.   What's been your favourite team experience? Happy Friday! Xx Dani
